About Olivia
I`m a recent graduate of the University of Cambridge, who is enthusiastic about using my education to support and inspire students of English Literature and Language. Having attained a Double First in my degree, my subject knowledge is extremely thorough, but I`m young enough to empathise with student experience, as a friendly and hard-working mentor.
I have experience tutoring in English Literature at both GCSE and A-Level. I have worked as a Project Access mentor at my university, a project which aims at guiding and tutoring students from low income, first-generation and state school backgrounds to attain places at top universities.
I also mentored online with Project Access, on a campaign which aimed to tutor students who had secured an offer to study at Cambridge, but were at risk of missing the grades required by their offer. This taught me a lot about keeping sessions engaging and informative online, and ultimately my student attained her place at Cambridge!
