About Austyn
I bring 14 years of experience in the field of education, including 10 years as a first-grade classroom teacher and 4 years as a reading specialist. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s degree in Reading from George Mason University. I have extensive classroom experience and a strong ability to build meaningful rapport with both students and their families. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to continuous professional growth by participating in ongoing professional development to ensure the use of current, research-based literacy practices.
