About Nicole
My name is Nicole and I am a full-time college student majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders. This undergraduate major is a prerequisite to the graduate program of Speech-Language Pathology, in which I will also complete a degree in. I am currently in my junior year of my undergraduate program with a GPA of 3.9.
I have been hired as a tutor through my University to work with other students in their tutoring facilities on campus. Prior to being hired as a tutor, I have organized multiple study groups either over zoom or in the school library and have successfully helped my classmates to achieve much higher scores while also developing a greater confidence in the material overall for the past 3 years. My tutoring approach is a mix of learning visually, finding ways to make the material more interactive, repetition, and application of the learned material through real-life examples. I plan on completing increasingly challenging tutor trainings from my university to become a higher caliber of a tutor and work at a higher level.
