About William
A Russell Group Law Graduate and former Grammar school student. Throughout the last six years, I have had the pleasure of teaching a range of children with a variety of educational needs, much of this during my time as manager of a leading London tuition centre.

My methodology revolves around constant practice at exam level conditions. As a tutor, I have found the greatest success from my students comes when the content of lessons replicates and thus acclimatises them to the environment they will come into contact with in the final assessment- whether that be an essay, examination or even dissertation. In my early sessions, I test various methods to determine your unique learning style, and then tailor the remaining sessions to make the most effective use of your time. I have been privately tutoring English for five years, for students at GCSE and A-Level, having volunteered in schools from as far back as 2016. In this time, I have helped over 30 students through numerous exam seasons, 70% of them achieving an A or A* (7,8,9 under the new GCSE grading system) from a starting point of a B or lower.
My sessions are proven to help you see huge improvements in your creative writing, essay / poetry writing, and interpretation and comprehension of contemporary and classical texts. Lasting between 60 and 90 minutes, my sessions are a must for those who want to see advancement in exam results, or even just gain more confidence in particular aspects.
