About Emily
I am a first-year environmental science student at the University of Guelph. Going into my first year I had already taken three university-level courses, in computer science, biology, and calculus. School has not always clicked for me, but through finding strategies that worked I was able to understand and do well in the academic world. I hope to find ways to help every one of my students excel through finding what works for them!

All throughout high school I helped tutor younger grades in Math, Science, as well as helped build lasting organizational and study habits. I have specific experience in calculus, Science, and any math! At the start of each session I will try to first understand what you are currently working on in class, then show example problems that we can then work through together! Often times things are best taught through teaching to others so I also like to incorporate flipped lessons where you explain your understanding of topics while I fill in gaps!
