About Abi
I'm a 1st Year University Student studying BA Sociology with Criminology at the University of York. I have a passion for helping others, and have a genuine love of English as a subject, so I would love to help more people reach their potential!

Typical Lessons would last around an hour, and I would work with each student to come up with learning strategies which worked for them, to meet their goals and expectations from tuition. I've never worked as a tutor previously, so I would be learning and developing new skills too, however, I have had work experience in a primary school teaching 6-7 year olds, and also volunteered as a Reading Leader, assisting students in year seven and eight to gain confidence in their reading and comprehension. I have achieved GCSE grade 7 (A) in English Literature, and GCSE grade 8 (A*) and A-Level grade A in English Language and Linguistics, so am confident that I would be able to offer some valuable expertise! I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals!
