About Kale
Hello, my name is Kale Muir and I have recently completed my A level exams where I studied English literature, History and RS alongside the completion of an EPQ. I have now started studying English Literature at the University of Warwick. I have a broad and developed knowledge of literature due to my A levels and GCSEs which is exemplified in my strong results. I am also fiercely passionate about the subject which can be seen in my love of writing poetry and short stories alongside an appreciation for the theatre.

To help students study English literature, I first like to get a grip of their knowledge and skills surrounding the subject which allows a personalised response to studying English. This could include discussion about the text, analysis, exploration of the author's techniques or even writing essays. I also want my lessons to not only improve their academic ability but to also be engaging for each student. This allows a more nuanced approach outside of the typical classroom, making the study of English not only accessible but loved by all. A lesson would typically be an hour long and are for those studying at secondary school.
