About Ruhi
My name is Ruhi Singh and I matriculated in 2024 with 5 distinctions as well as having done AP Math and AP English throughout high school. Right now, I'm studying Biomedical Sciences (BHSc) at Wits University. I love academics and genuinely enjoy learning, and I also love helping others learn! I adore teaching both STEM and English/History, and I try to make lessons fun, clear, and easy to follow, because I know how overwhelming it can feel. I’m friendly and approachable, so don’t be afraid to ask questions or chat. I’m here to help you understand, grow, and enjoy the journey.

I believe learning should never feel boring or overwhelming. As someone who’s been through the ups and downs of being a student myself, especially with Math and Science, I understand how tricky certain subjects can feel. That’s why I like to keep lessons friendly, supportive, and engaging. I aim to make Math, Science, English, and History not just understandable, but actually interesting. I also love creating neat, personalised notes that make it easier to study and revise, so my students always have something clear and helpful to take away after each session.

I teach exclusively in English, and I make sure my explanations are easy to follow, relatable, and tailored to each student’s needs.

Every lesson is interactive, relaxed, and designed around what you need. I like to go step by step, explain concepts clearly, and use examples that make sense to you. I’ll also provide my personalised notes, tips, and study tricks to make the work less stressful and more approachable. My lessons are especially suited for high school students (particularly those following the IEB curriculum, since that’s what I know best).
