About Nikolai
With 13 years of professional ESL teaching experience, I have successfully taught over 150 students across all proficiency levels. I help learners improve their English communication skills for academic, career, and personal use.
My teaching method is centred on personalised learning. I adapt my lessons according to each student’s level, goals, and learning pace. This helps students stay motivated and make steady progress.
My sessions focus on improving grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and fluency through practical exercises and conversation practice. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident using English.
One of my strongest skills is understanding student difficulties and providing clear guidance. I offer regular feedback and support to help learners improve consistently.

My ESL teaching philosophy is based on flexibility, empathy, compassion, communication, and collaboration. I believe long-term language success comes from personalised attention, emotional support, and consistent practice. I take time to understand each learner’s background, learning style, and purpose for learning English.

I integrate conversation practice, grammar usage, vocabulary development, listening comprehension, and writing application into every lesson. Empathy enables me to understand learner struggles without judgement, while compassion helps me motivate students through encouragement.
Clear communication ensures students understand both rules and usage. Collaboration helps build responsibility and confidence through shared goals and regular feedback. In addition to ESL, I also support students with spoken English, presentation basics, and professional communication skills.
