As an English tutor with over 32 years of experience — including 12 years living and working in New York — I combine academic precision with real-life language practice.

My teaching method:

I focus on communication first — helping students speak clearly, confidently, and naturally. Grammar and vocabulary are taught in context, not as dry rules, so you can use English in real situations. I use authentic materials: news articles, dialogues, video clips, business texts, exam prompts, and more.

My approach is always tailored to the individual student. I adapt to your level, goals, and pace. Whether you're preparing for exams, improving business English, or just want to speak fluently, I’ll create a plan that fits your needs.

A typical lesson:

Each lesson usually includes:

a short warm-up conversation (to activate vocabulary)

targeted work on grammar or phrases in context

speaking or listening practice based on real-life materials

feedback and correction with clear explanations

homework (optional) to reinforce the topic

I’m not only a teacher, but also a professional interpreter who worked at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine. I know both the formal, professional side of English — and how people speak it in everyday life.
