About Rebecca
Hi there,
My name is Becky, a friendly and bubbly tutor specialising in Italian, Maths, PR and other topics relating to the working world.
I grew up in Italy making me fluent in the language and able to teach at an advanced level. I attended an Italian school from the age of 14 - 19, which means I have all of the grammatical background knowledge as well as the everyday use of the language to communicate with locals.
After finishing high school, I moved back to the UK to study Economics at Lancaster University. Graduating with a 2:1, my specialist subjects over the 3 years included Maths, Economics and Statistics. Having spent a successful year on placement at GlaxoSmithKline, I can also offer services including CV writing, preparing for interviews and how to become more confident when entering a presentation/public speaking type of situation.
I secured a graduate scheme in 2015 in Financial PR - working for investors, PLC companies and other financial institutions. As of the last couple of years I have changed my career to become more focused on the campaigning side of the PR world, working with entrepreneurs, high profile CEOs and celebrities.
I have an extensive knowledge on the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe InDesign.
