About Chris
I am currently studying primary education at Stranmillis College. I have studied Spanish up to A level and have also been in Spain for several youth exchange teams and spent 8 months living in Honduras in Central America on my gap year. There, my listening, speaking and general Spanish ability developed and improved dramatically. A lot of my time was spent teaching the English language in a Spanish speaking context, in after school camps, youth groups and even schools.

My teaching methodology is focused on learning through personal engagement and experience. Engagement and experience through interactive and interesting topics as well as learning techniques is crucial for harbouring a love of the language that will inspire a desire to learn. I witnessed this first hand while living in the Spanish speaking country of Honduras. A variety of learning approaches, such as having practice conversations, playing games, approaching music, TV and relevant literature will help instill this.
