About Melody
I am a college student with seal of biliteracy in both French and Spanish. I also speak with medium proficiency Guarani and Portuguese. I received a 5 on my AP Spanish test and am well prepared locally as I tutor my peers in high school to similar success. I have lived in Spanish and French speaking countries; allowing for a deep cultural understanding that plays a large role in my teaching style. My passion is helping others connect through language and culture.

I have first hand experience of traditional and non-traditional middle school and high school Spanish learning. I work along with classroom course work and student inquiry regarding the language and culture. I provide understanding that broadens beyond the structural elements of language so that the student can have both understanding and confidence in their own ability. I have prepared student for success in testing as well as real life interactions. If no previous Spanish is known, I build a quick base of important and useful understanding of the language.
