About Sofia
I am 19 and a first-year English student at Trinity College Dublin, fluent in Spanish thanks to my Argentine mother. I love reading, language, and helping others improve. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy sea swimming and a good coffee. I aim to be approachable, professional, and encouraging in all my lessons. I want to teach Spanish because I enjoy sharing my love of the language and helping students feel confident using it. I know how challenging grammar, comprehension, and writing can be, and I find it rewarding to guide students in improving their skills while making lessons engaging and practical. Teaching allows me to combine my fluency and experience with helping others succeed in the Leaving Cert.

My approach to tutoring is supportive, structured, and tailored to each student. I focus on building confidence in speaking, writing, comprehension, and grammar while helping students master exam technique. Lessons typically last 1 hour and combine explanation, guided practice, and personalised feedback.
Being fluent in Spanish, with an Argentinian mother, I provide natural, real-world language examples alongside exam preparation. I understand the Leaving Cert requirements and tailor lessons to each student’s level and goals. Sessions are suitable for Higher Level Leaving Cert students and are available online via Zoom, making them flexible and accessible anywhere in Ireland.
