About Ronard
I am a dedicated flute tutor who enjoys helping students grow musically and creatively. My teaching combines mentorship, accountability, and critical thinking to foster steady progress. I focus on tone, phrasing, rhythm, and breath control while nurturing expressive musicality. I also include music theory, sight-reading, and ear training to strengthen overall musicianship. Creativity is central to my lessons, including improvisation, composition, and musical exploration. I guide students to set goals, practice consistently, and take ownership of their learning. Mistakes are treated as opportunities for growth and reflection. I adapt lessons to each student’s pace, skill level, and interests. I act as a mentor, providing guidance, motivation, and constructive feedback. Lessons balance technical skill-building with creative activities to keep students engaged. I emphasise reflection, problem-solving, and independent thinking in all sessions. My goal is to build confidence, discipline, and curiosity in all students. I also teach related subjects such as theory, rhythm, and performance preparation. I create a positive and inspiring learning environment. My ultimate aim is to help students become expressive, confident, and lifelong learners of music.

I teach flute with a focus on creativity, critical thinking, and structured learning. I believe students learn best when they are curious, supported, and challenged. Each lesson is designed to help students understand music deeply while developing technical skill. I act as a mentor, guiding students to explore sound, phrasing, and rhythm. Accountability is central—I help students set goals and take responsibility for practice. Lessons include tone exercises, breath work, rhythm drills, and expressive playing. I also teach theory, sight-reading, and ear training to strengthen understanding. Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, composition, and personal interpretation. Mistakes are seen as steps towards improvement, not failure. My teaching is flexible to suit different learning styles and skill levels. I emphasise reflection, self-evaluation, and problem-solving in each class. I provide positive feedback to build confidence and motivation. I also teach related subjects like music theory and performance skills. Each lesson is structured to balance discipline with fun. My goal is to help students develop into confident, independent, and expressive musicians.
