About Monash
I am a passionate musician and educator from South East Queensland. My specialty area is the Flute, however, I am a multi-instrumental performer and teacher. I have studied under multiple experts during my undergraduate and postgraduate studies degree at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, and the University of Queensland, where I explored both classical and contemporary music genres and performance styles. I am a qualified and registered Teacher in Queensland. Previously, I have been based in the Capricorn Coast, working as a classroom music teacher, private music teacher, and performer. My teaching method is tailored to each student individually. While I will push my students to reach their own potential, I believe that Move-At-Your-Own-Pace is a powerful tool when combined with encouragement towards specific performance goals. I welcome students wishing to undertake AMEB or other performance exams and am happy to take you through this process. In most instances, I can also provide an accompanist where needed.
