About Tumwebaze
Dear Parent, I'm called TUMWEBAZE CLEMENT and I am a well-trained mathematician, and have had an opportunity to teach at both secondary and undergraduate levels. For me, mathematics or science is a passion. I am here for two reasons. One is, to share with everyone about the future of learning as far as this year is concerned. It appears that schools may not be effective as before from the trend of events that we have so far seen. While COVID-19 has disorganized all the school-going children, parents especially those in urban centers should not miss the opportunity it has presented to their children to access some of the best teachers since most of them are not busy. Let me explain by using my subject of interest, mathematics. As most of you are well aware, having passed through school already, mathematics is one of the most challenging subjects and also one that has a huge influence on the grade the child attains (grade 12) or whether he will do sciences or not. So during this time, parents should tap from a pool of very good mathematics teachers that are readily available to tutor their children and level the field so that your children are ready to compete favorably. While many schools are sending you work on WhatsApp, this is not enough as the children don't get an opportunity for feedback and they just do as an obligation and no meaningful learning takes place. If you can afford, expose your children to good tutorship that will give them an edge when they return to school for their final exams. Secondly, as I said at the beginning, I can confidently say that I am one of those good mathematicians who can give your child an edge in these few months of lockdown (probably remaining for the matric exams). And there are a number of others out there as well. However, if you are in Pretoria, I could assist your child at a reasonable fee. Let's have a win-win for both of us. Thank you for the opportunity.
