An important component of any historical topic is the researcher's ability to think critically about the event. In that light, my classes focus less on the 'when' of history but the 'why'. By understanding the social, political, and economical factors, my students will be better able to understand how and why major historical events took place. This will allow students of all levels to fully grasp concepts and therefore those pesky dates which hang so many students up in history classes will be easier to recall since students will be able to rationalize the date versus regurgitation of memory.
I am comfortable and experienced in tutoring every level from primary to undergrad level, and can easily place any historical event into an age appropriate platform of learning.
