About Chea
Hi, I'm a Year 11 student currently studying Advanced and Extension 1 Math. I want to teach because I know how frustrating it feels when a math concept just won't click, and I've experienced firsthand how much a good explanation can turn that around. I want to help students who struggle with math build real confidence, not just memorize steps, so they can walk into exams feeling prepared rather than anxious.

I'm a Year 11 student currently studying Advanced and Extension 1 Mathematics, and I tutor students from primary school through to Year 11 Advanced and Extension Maths.
My teaching style is a mix of building understanding and practising exam-style questions — I start by making sure a concept genuinely makes sense, then move into worked examples and past questions so it sticks. I tailor each lesson to the student: if you're solid on the theory, we'll go straight into harder practice questions, and if a topic's shaky, we'll slow down and rebuild it from the basics.
Lessons run online via video call and go for 45 minutes. I keep sessions focused — usually reviewing recent class work or homework, working through a key concept together, then practising questions with feedback as we go.
I know the current syllabus well since I'm studying it myself right now, which means I can point out exactly where marks are commonly lost and what teachers are actually looking for in Year 11 Advanced and Extension responses.
