Foreign language professor with 25 years of language teaching experience gives Mandarin lessons from home in Utah.

I took a 6 week Mandarin class with Kerong and it was my first introduction to Mandarin. I think for a beginner class, she approached it very well, recognizing limitations on our understanding and coaching us in a helpful, constructive way. Kerong also made class really fun and lighthearted which I appreciated. She repeated certain elements from class to class which helped us build our competency on those elements so that we could see ourselves getting better while also introducing new content. I really enjoyed her class!

I knew Kerong since 2014. She is a very responsible teacher, who has great passion for education field. She is also very patient with students who have learning difficulties.

I have known Kerong since our time working in the Chinese Department at Indiana University in Indianapolis. She was an excellent colleague and teacher who regularly taught Mandarin Chinese to a diverse group of students both in and out of the classroom. She helped lead a successful study abroad program to China and held fascinating Chinese cultural lectures. She is very reliable, knowledgable, fun, and takes her work seriously.
