About Akshayini
Hey there! My name is Akshayini and I am a music student in Paris. I am from Malaysia where I grew up speaking English as my main language. My mother was an English literature teacher, so I grew up reading lots of novels and learning proper habits in grammar, both speaking and writing. I obtained an ALevels degree from Cambridge during my studies before coming to France, where the subjects taught were only in English. I also achieved a 9.0 for my IELTS exam.
I miss English a lot in everyday life now, so I would love to be able to share my knowledge and to just be able to converse in English with you!

My teaching method is quite liberal. I believe that the best way to learn a language is to just speak it without shyness or hesitation, so I like having sessions where we quite simply try to converse and discuss in English! I will be able to help with oral / written corrections for homework or with translations needed for work. I will also be able to help with written comprehension by discovering together an English book / novel which interests you for example.
I will not be able to give lessons at my home unfortunately, but I will be able to travel very easily around Paris to come to you. Even though I don't have a lot of experience teaching English professionally, I have a very good command of the language and I am sure that I will always have something new to teach you during each class :)
