About Shaqil
Hi, I’m a recent SPM graduate. I got A+ in Mathematics and A in Biology, Chemistry and Physics and I was the top science student in Langkawi for my year. I’m currently studying ACCA but I want to tutor because I enjoy helping students understand Math and Science. I know how frustrating these subjects can be when you don’t understand them, so I want to help students who are struggling, especially those at C or D level, build confidence and improve their grades with clear explanations and extra practice.

My tutoring approach is simple and focused on helping students understand the basics clearly. During lessons, we go through the school textbook together to make sure the student understands the concepts taught in class. I also bring additional practice questions and past-style questions from online sources to strengthen their problem-solving skills.
A typical lesson lasts about one hour, which I find is a good balance between covering enough material and keeping the student focused without becoming tired or bored.
While I do not have formal tutoring experience, I achieved strong SPM results (A+ in Mathematics and A in Biology, Chemistry and Physics) and was the top student in the science stream in Langkawi for my year. I have also helped my younger siblings with their studies, which helped me develop a clear and patient way of explaining topics.
My lessons are mainly for Form 1–3 students, especially those who find Math or Science difficult and are currently around the C or D grade level. My goal is to help them strengthen their fundamentals, build confidence, and improve their results to at least a B or higher.
