About George
I am a former academic. As well as a doctorate from the University of Cambridge, I hold a postdoctoral degree (Habilitation) from a university in Germany. During an academic career at the highest international level, I held prestigious research fellowships and wrote two monographs.
I possess extensive experience in University teaching, research, administration, and assessment. In addition to teaching modules at other universities, I acted as a supervisor for about ten Cambridge colleges between 2008 and 2019. Between 2013 and 2019 I prepared and conducted entrance interviews (both tutorial and subject-specific) for several Cambridge colleges, and acted on two occasions as an examiner and assessor.
