My varied work experience means I have been able to get to know people from all walks of life and therefore has enabled me to have a genuine and passionate attitude towards the work that I do. The key to my teaching approach is to explore the world of English literature and language in a way that is both engaging and approachable. My 60 - 90 minute lessons are constructed entirely around each individual student, but are always sure to incorporate the theory, practice and application of English.
Having worked as a Senior English Teacher and Curriculum Editor in Hong Kong for two years, my experiece with tutoring is extensive. During this time I taught age ranges 3 - 18, breaching levels from Phonics to University Admission Essay writing. Outside of this role I have also worked as a private tutor, teaching English as a Foreign Language and also providing support to those with learning disabilities.
I am comfortable creating lessons for and teaching all levels, making sure each class is tailor made to suit the student.
