About Tiffany
I bring over 12 years of experience in education, including 8 years in the classroom, to my work as a literacy tutor. I use a structured, research-based approach and have been trained in programs such as UFLI Foundations.
My instruction focuses on building strong reading foundations through explicit, systematic teaching of phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. I model skills clearly, guide students through practice, and provide consistent review to ensure lasting understanding.
I have worked with a wide range of learners, including students in special education, neurodivergent students, and English language learners. I adapt my instruction to meet each student’s individual needs so they can make meaningful progress.

I use a structured literacy approach grounded in explicit, systematic instruction. With over 12 years of experience in education, I have been trained in and have implemented multiple research-based literacy programs, including the UFLI Foundations.
My instruction focuses on phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. I use clear modeling, guided practice, and repetition to build strong reading foundations. I focus on identifying skill gaps and providing instruction that leads to lasting improvement and confidence.
