About Jordan
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education in English Literature in 2023. I fell in love with teaching at a young age and since then, I've wanted to share my love for learning with every student I come across. I believe learning should be more than a vocabulary lesson. It should be fun, engaging, stimulating, and spark curiosity and English is the perfect subject that encapsulates all of these things.

If you're a student who thinks English is the most boring subject in school, then I'm the perfect teacher to prove you wrong. English is more than just reading and summarizing. It's about diving deeper into characters, plot, conflict, and all the hidden treasures that get passed over in a typical classroom setting.
What sets me apart as a tutor is that my students walk away from my lessons with more confidence in the material than they did when they walked out of their classroom. This confidence comes from me asking questions that encourage them to look beyond the text to not only understand bigger concepts, but teach them to seek context clues and subtext that will set them apart from the rest of their peers.
My lessons are for students starting from middle school and going into high school and college. I can help with everything from reading, literacy, essay writing, and everything else under the umbrella of the subject of English.
