About Adele
Sometimes it just doesn't 'stick' right? Sometimes you leave a lesson thinking you've got it, then you go home, review your notes and realise you haven't. Don't worry, I know how that feels - I'm both a teacher and a student, so I understand that blank feeling you experience sometimes and also know how to overcome it! I'm a very experienced teacher of 15 years but I didn't arrive straight from school, I worked for an IT company for many years too - crucial experience when teaching Business as a subject. My A Level students have a 100% pass rate, with 22.5% exceeding their target grade this year. I'm also an Examiner for GCSE Business, so I know the techniques required to get a good grade. Persistence and patience is key, you'll get there - just keep going. I can help you, if you're willing to help yourself and commit to your learning and success - it's a two-way process and we can make a great partnership!

Specialising in GCSE and A Level Business (AQA and Edexcel, but other awarding organisations can be taught also) I focus on breaking your learning down into manageable chunks, revisiting each component many times (ie through starter or plenary activities) to aid your recall and understanding. Using real-life business scenarios to connect theory with reality and therefore application, I will teach you how to tackle the different types of questions, practice timings and nail those analysis and evaluation skills to access higher grade boundaries.
