About Ollie
I’m an award-winning photographic researcher from Kent, who has worked as a critical theory specialist at a leading UK creative arts institution for over 10 years. I hold a BA and MA in Photography, and received my Ph.D. in 2022 for my work around the Photobook.

My specialism focuses on developing students' understanding of critical, contextual concepts - demystifying theory into approachable sets of ideas that can be used to practically influence your creative practice. I have developed a reputation for being able to tutor all students, regardless of prior capabilities, through dissertation modules with great success. Many previous students have gone on to work with writing professionally.
