About Don
I am a Mathematics graduate with over six years of experience tutoring students across a wide range of ages and skill levels. I specialize in helping students build strong fundamentals, improve problem-solving skills, and develop confidence in mathematics through clear, structured instruction.
My teaching style focuses on conceptual understanding rather than memorization. I focus on conceptual understanding, visualization, and problem-solving. In my experience, many students struggle not with the current topic itself, but with gaps in foundational math skills. My goal is to strengthen those foundations while helping students understand the reasoning behind the material rather than just memorizing steps.
I use visual explanations, step-by-step walkthroughs, and guided practice to make difficult concepts easier to understand and build confidence in problem-solving.
