I have been a tutor since before I graduated high school. I love to help students realize that they CAN do math. Usually it takes a new look at old skills, and a different style of teaching than offered in regular school.

First I find out what the student needs, then I meet them there. I often try to take the work out of underlying skills so they don't get discouraged by the newer harder topics. I try to make the topic relatable to the student.
