I met Sir Martin during Semester 3 in the ACC116 course. I greatly appreciate his teaching style because he is passionate about teaching accounting and is always willing to help students who are not familiar with the subject. He explains concepts step by step, making difficult topics easier to understand.
One experience that stood out to me was when I contacted him the night before an examination to seek clarification about the FIFO and LIFO inventory methods. Despite the late hour, he responded promptly and provided helpful explanations, which greatly assisted my revision.
I highly recommend Sir Martin as a tutor because he is knowledgeable, supportive, and dedicated to his students' success. I encourage him to continue developing his teaching methods and to remain approachable and open to all students. His commitment and willingness to help make him an excellent educator.

I had the opportunity to be taught by this lecturer for ACC116 during my third semester. Throughout the course, he consistently demonstrated kindness, patience and a genuine commitment to helping his students understand the subject matter.

One experience that stood out to me was when I encountered a particularly challenging accounting question while revising at night. As I have very limited accounting knowledge, I was unable to solve it on my own. Although it was already outside of office hours, I decided to contact him without expecting an immediate response. To my surprise, he replied promptly and patiently explained the solution step by step. He also shared additional learning resources, including YouTube videos to further improve my understanding. His willingness to assist students beyond normal working hours reflects his dedication and passion for teaching.

Furthermore, he creates an environment where students feel comfortable seeking help whenever they face academic difficulties making him highly approachable and supportive.

One area that could be further improved is his communication style when interacting with students. At times, he may come across as slightly reserved or shy which can make conversations feel a little awkward. However, this does not affect the quality of his teaching or his willingness to support students. Overall, he is a dedicated, caring and knowledgeable lecturer who genuinely prioritises his students' learning and academic success.

Martin is a very patient and knowledgeable tutor. He explains accounting concepts clearly and makes difficult topics easier to understand. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their accounting skills
