About Nia
I’m a passionate, equity-focused leader and strategist with decades of experience in education, combining academic insight with a commitment to inclusive excellence in school environments. A Boston native with degrees from Columbia University (B.A.) and Harvard Graduate School of Education (M.Ed.), I have served in leadership positions—from Academic Dean at Dana Hall to Director of Equity at Charles River School—helping shape curriculum, policy, and equity initiatives. Now Executive Director at Steps to Success Brookline, I am leading efforts to expand educational opportunity and support for students from low-income backgrounds, closing opportunity gaps through innovative after-school, summer, and college-readiness programs
