About Georgia
Hello, my name is Georgia and I have worked as a tutor and a teacher for the past 18 months. My main goal is to make sure my students feel confident in English, whether that be because you find it a tricky subject, or you are preparing for your GCSE's. My lessons will keep you engaged, interested, and most importantly - learning!
I built great bonds with my previous students, as I always believed in them!
I will be able to help you and inspire you; to enjoy and comprehend English as a subject to the best of your ability. I will work hard to deliver fun, beneficial lessons and keep you on track to your goal.

From my 18 months spent tutoring and teaching, I have studied and implemented numerous teaching techniques and methodologies.
- I consistently use starters, lesson objectives, a range of tasks and a plenary to ensure active learning.
- I cater my lessons specifically to the student's needs, whether that be through visual learning, kinaesthetic learning or anything else that will benefit the student.
- I can range my lessons anywhere between 1 hour to 2.5 hours, depending on content and level.
- My lessons are made specifically for students between the age of 11 and 16, including GCSE.
- I have learnt a variety of different techniques through my experience as a tutor and as a teacher, developing a good eye for how the student best intakes information and to avoid cognitive overload, making my lessons interesting, fun and full of knowledge!
