About Tristan
Former Stanford mechanical engineering student and tennis player with an A average across all math and physics classes from middle school through sophomore year of Stanford. I dropped out of Stanford after sophomore year and I am currently playing professional tennis, but I still have a passion for math and want to help young athletes with math so they can pursue their college dreams! As a student athlete at Stanford, I developed awesome learning skills to help me grasps concepts more quickly and with better comprehension on an intense athletic schedule. Even while training every day and traveling around the country with the Stanford tennis team, I was able to maintain a 3.8 gpa (4.0 in STEM classes) throughout the two years I was there. I left to play professional tennis after sophomore year, and have since further developed my general professionalism and work ethic. I have always been top of my class in math and have a passion for learning and teaching mathematic concepts, and in our lessons I will help you find that same passion. I have a firm understanding of all pre-collegiate math courses, with particular proficiency in algebra I and II, precalculus, and trigonometry. I also love physics , and am so excited to help you with all your middle and high-school physics questions, especially those relating to kinematics (projectile motion), energy, and momentum!
