About Natalie
I have worked in education for over 10 years in various roles, and I have a passion for teaching. I completed my undergrad degree at Syracuse University, and my master's degree at the University of Central Florida. I am certified in Reading and ESOL for grades K-12. I am also certified in Earth-Space Science, Agricultural Science, and Biology for grades 6-12. A new teacher mentor, department chair, testing committee member, and former teacher of the year, I have spent years honing my ability to help students find success.

A dynamic and technologically literate teacher, I like to involve students in the conversation. Instead of typical lecturing, I prefer to be a guide to my students. Technology is a useful tool for both students and teachers, and I use it often. Students learn better when they can take ownership over their work, and that is my plan as an educator. Guided notes, study guides, games, and low-stakes quizzes are some of my favorite methods of teaching. Students can benefit from my interactive lessons.
