About Jimmy
I am a former teacher with 4 years experience teaching GCSE and A level physics. I have a PhD in particle physics, which gives me an excellent knowledge of the subject and experience with the real world applications of physics and maths. Although my primary specialism is physics, I also have experience tutoring GCSE maths.

My tutorials are tailored to each individual pupils according to their needs. They can be viewed as complimentary to lessons, with each tutorial supplementing what has been learnt at school during the week, or they can be used as revision lessons to review content from a previous to year to to prepare for upcoming exams.
I believe the best way to learn physics and maths is through practice, and so my lessons will usually begin with a recap of key information, before attempting examples together. However, this is flexible and my teaching style can change to suit an individual pupil.
