About Logeswari
I’m currently studying Dentistry at QMUL. What fascinates me the most , is the holistic approach to Dentistry, covering from the whole of human biology and chemistry to anatomy and physiology. It’s the amalgamation of various topics that help me solidify my understanding even further on the subjects I have previously studied like Biology Chemistry and Physics.
In terms of my experience taking exams , over the years from GCSEs to A-levels I have really nurtured my revision techniques of active recall and spaced repetition to reward me with the best exam results. Achieving 2 grade 9’s 7 grade 8’s in gcse and A*AA in Maths, chemistry and Biology- helping me attain my place on such a competitive course. As well as an A* in Tamil language. I’m also a Bharatanatyam dancer and often have opportunities to teach and conduct classes for students, this really attracted me to the role of teaching. As a tutor by applying this knowledge, experience and skills I will be able to provide the best learning experience and results for my tutees.
I would like to implement a lot of interactive tools like quizzes and flashcards to really help them engage with the content and apply this knowledge to exam question practice related to each topic. I will provide useful summary sheets for topics and practice questions to really help them understand the content, which will definitely boost their confidence in their studies at school and exams.

In terms of maths and science I believe that once basic concepts are mastered, my students will find the subjects as engaging as I do! In the lessons, I think students should have control over what and how they learn a specific topic or subject . They can let me know in advance what they’d like to go over lesson by lesson and/or we can make sure we lessons compliment what is being learnt in school. I'm also happy to go over exam papers as I feel doing lots of practice questions is the best way to get those top grades!
