About Matthew
I am a student athlete at heart that values hardwork, commitment and discipline, but also kidness and having fun! I have been through the process of playing multiple sports while trying to acheiving academic excellence and have been very successful. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and love passing down what I learned in my academic journy to students who will benifit from it!

I would consider myself a kind and friendly individual who really enjoys learning and teaching. I firmly believe that understanding things from the basics and moving forwards from there allows anyone to learn most things.
I think my stengths and what sets me apart from other tutors are understanding what kind of learner I am tutoring and adjusting the way I teach based on their personal needs, along with a strong sense of patience that allows me to work well with people that may not understand some concepts right away. I also have plenty of experience working with kids of a variety of ages, between having two younger brothers, being a coach for a sports team, or in the classroom as a volunteer assistant teacher.
A typical lesson plan involves multiple weekly sessions where we will review what you have learned in class the last few days, go over homework questions and answer any questions that you have from your last few sessions, and identify areas of weakness that you need to work on before our next session.
My lessons are for anyone who is trying to improve their grades in the fields of maths and sceinces. Depending on the goals of the individual I can adjust my lesson plans for a student who is just hoping to improve, or for a student who is trying to achieve academic excellence.
