About Kashish
Tutoring is a passion of mine because there's an immense sense of satisfaction that comes with helping students grasp concepts and overcome challenges. I genuinely enjoy seeing the moment when a student’s confusion turns into clarity, and they begin to feel confident in their abilities. My patience allows me to break down complex topics into manageable pieces, ensuring that every student not only understands the material but also feels comfortable asking questions without hesitation. I have a thorough understanding of all the subjects I teach, which allows me to explain concepts clearly and in a way that resonates with each student’s unique learning style. Being a specialist in my field gives me the ability to dive deep into the material and provide students with nuanced insights they might not find in textbooks. Additionally, I take pride in being approachable and friendly, creating an environment where students feel at ease and motivated to learn. Helping others reach their full potential is incredibly rewarding to me, and tutoring gives me the opportunity to make a positive impact on their academic journey.

I’m a fourth-year medical student and I have achieved A*s in maths and sciences at A-levels. I have been tutoring for over 3 years (with over 600 hours of lesson teaching experience) in all of my subjects and I have experience in helping students raise their grades to 8s and 9s! I work with pupils to ensure my teaching aligns with their learning needs. I make use of diagrams and visuals to help their understanding and I make sure they feel confident in every topic we do. I find tutoring to be very rewarding and I love seeing pupils succeed in subjects they felt unsure of previously. A typical lesson involves a quick recap quiz from the previous lesson, a starter to introduce the new topic, lesson slides and activities going through the new topic and ending with past paper questions so pupils can see how this topic translates in exams. I make sure we work at the student's pace and make sure to establish a good rapport with them. I ensure they feel comfortable asking any questions and asking me to repeat or re-explain any concepts. I specialise in the Edexcel (GCSE and IGCSE) and AQA exam boards but many of the topics overlap amongst different exam boards.
