About Sarah
I am a current 4th-year medical student at RUMC and have been tutoring students, both in a formal and informal setting, since I was 14. I have taught students in various age groups and academic levels. All of my students have been able to raise a letter grade or percentage in their math, science and English classes after several sessions, and I’ve been able to help several students achieve grades of 4 and 5 (the equivalent of an A and A*) on the final American AP exam.

Over the past four years, I have tutored many (+15) students in subjects for AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP English Literature and the SAT. My strategy differs from student to student, but my main priority is to make sure that I’m catering to that my students’ specific learning style. Whether it be through practicing past papers or playing revision games, I’m always open to whatever makes my student feel the most comfortable and confident in their knowledge of the subject. Additionally, with over 12 APs under my belt, I’m confident in my ability to not only teach the required subject material, but also give essential test taking tips, some from personal experience, to help score that 5!
