About Tianyi
I am a fourth-year Biological Science student with experience in teaching science topics to young children, and in mentoring older students in the pathways to STEM. I achieved an overall grade of 98 in the Biology 30 Alberta curriculum and received 97 on the Diploma Exam. I also completed the IB diploma program, earning a 7 in Biology. I specialize in the high school and IB biology curriculum.

My method of teaching is focused on and tailored to the needs of the student. I strive to help students develop strong problem-solving skills applicable not only to science and biology, but whatever academic endeavours students may pursue in the future. Lessons start with an initial meeting with the student to assess where they are at, what their goals are, and how we can get them there.
