- As a Mentor/Tutor, I'm very patient and open to the creativity of the individual. Dance is a fluid concept and with the right foundations and guidance, you'll be able to make it into something unique to you.
- My Lesson Structure will follow a similar "dance class" style;
warm-up, stretch, drills/choreography, mini-performance recap, cool down, final stretching.
- The structure of these lessons will depend on the topic of teaching and the initial goal of the student.
- Lessons will primarily focus on building a strong foundation for the styles that I'll be teaching, as well as building a strong understanding of the fundamentals of dance; isolations; grooves; rhythm; counts; textures, etc.
- I'm a very active and hands-on teacher, so I like to set enjoyable tasks and challenges within the lesson to push the students a little further and really explore their creativity and most importantly, BUILD CONFIDENCE.
