About Galatee
My name is Galatee, I am currently doing a Bachelor in Politics with Economics at the University of Bath. I love learning and I have always enjoyed inspiring others to also. I think the fact that I just came out of school means that I understand my tutees better. I can relate to them and I know what inspires confidence within them and what bores them. My favourite subjects at school were English Literature, French, History and Politics. I definitely think this was due to the quality of my teachers as well as the interesting content. I have always enjoyed helping others and hope to help you!

I personalise my teaching methodology depending on the individual. I was able to develop these skills as a tutor for three children last year. I taught two of them as paid work and the third as volunteering for disadvantaged children. In general, I believe in understanding and interactivity being key for revision/learning, hence this will be important in my lessons. I am adept at working with any age group, and I can teach up until GCSE. I have been doing au pair work and babysitting since I was 14, consequently I am used to working with younger children. In addition, one of the tutees I worked with last year was 16 years old. The typical length of a lesson with me as a tutor would usually be one hour but I can also do 2 hours if needed.
