About Daphne
I am a first year French student at the University of Leeds- despite growing up speaking and learning French, I wasn't always passionate about languages or French itself- I didn't even think I could gain any kind of fluency. It was only through good tutoring that I came out of my A-level French with an A*, and enough fluency to get a job and work in France. I understand exactly how hard languages and exams in general can be. I want to help people break through the barriers stopping them from reaching their full potential. I know exactly what examiners and mark schemes are looking for.

I have spent about ten years being tutored in French, whilst I lived there in childhood up until my A level. Through trial and error, I understand what works best to learn any language. I provide lessons for A-level/GCSE students who are looking for help to get them through exams from someone who recently had to do them, understands what markers want, and got a 9 at GCSE and an A* at A level. I will tailor any lesson to suit the student. Lessons typically last an hour, but can change depending on the needs of the student.
