About Leah
I am going into my last year in a BSc in Psychology and Environmental Sustainability at Dalhousie University. I have received exemplary grades in English courses and I scored highly proficient in my oral French examination. I have taught swimming lessons for far longer than I have been tutoring, through which I have gained experience with working with children of all ages, including adults. I have my workplace standard first aid and am comfortable around children of all ages and have a clean and valid vulnerable sectors check.

I come from a family of teachers that have all taught me that it does not matter what teaching methodologies you have, what you plan or what you think you will accomplish. Until you have met your student and understand their individual needs, you cannot understand how to help them. I do not provide a cookie-cutter lesson with a standard teaching pattern. Instead, I meet with you and we come up with an individualized plan that works based off of your learning style. I can teach in French and English at any level and pride myself on my ability to push students to their own limits while helping them grow along the way.
