About Marnaine
I have experience as a language tutor while completing my Master’s degree in France, where I helped students improve their communication and language skills. I also worked in different professional fields before returning to education and student support. Today, I teach French in high school and continue tutoring learners part-time, which allows me to combine my passion for teaching with real-world experience.

My approach as a tutor is centered on building confidence, communication skills, and real understanding in French. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, goals, and learning style, whether they are learning French for school, travel, work, or personal growth.

I use interactive and practical teaching methods that focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I encourage students to practice French in real-life situations through conversations, vocabulary exercises, pronunciation practice, and simple grammar explanations. I also create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and improving step by step.
A typical lesson plan:
My lessons follow the “I Do, We Do, You Do” method. First, I explain and demonstrate the concept (“I Do”). Then, we practice together with guided activities and examples (“We Do”). Finally, the student practices independently through exercises, conversations, or small challenges (“You Do”). This method helps students gradually build confidence and become more independent in their learning.

What sets me apart is that French is my native language, which allows me to teach authentic pronunciation, expressions, and everyday communication naturally. I also understand the challenges of learning a new language because I personally learned English myself. This experience makes me more patient, understanding, and supportive with my students. I know what it feels like to make mistakes, build confidence, and improve step by step, which makes my lessons more human, encouraging, and relatable.
