About Emmanuelle
Hello :) I'm Emmanuelle, I'm a 26 year-old-French woman from (the suburbs of!) Paris.
At University, I studied the Anglo-Saxon culture (literature, cinema, politics, history...). And my minor was Teaching and Pedagogy: I wanted to become a school teacher.
After an amazing Erasmus exchange in Bristol, I decided to stay a bit longer in the UK! I took a gap year and worked as a French Assistant in a l
secondary school/sixth form college in Birmingham. My job was mainly practicing the speaking skills of the GCSEs and A Level French pupils. I loved it so much that I ended dropping my life in France the year after to complete a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages at the University of Sussex. I obtained it with honours.
I finished my ECT training last year and am now officially a qualified teacher.
I have been working in an independent school near Melksham for two years. I am lucky to teach from Nursery to A Level! Quite a range. I am therefore quite flexible: wether you are preparing an exam, want to learn from scratch or just want a chat in French... I'm here for you. Don't hesitate to contact me :)

I can help children/teenagers with their French homework, and make them practice the language. As a former French Assistant, I practice conversations with my students and correct their pronunciations/give them vocabulary/explain French traditions...
I can also give French lessons to anyone who wants to learn, no matter the level. As a tutor, I'm friendly and instructive. I learned during my studies how to teach with my interactivity with gamification: learning by the meaning of games.
