About Julie
I am primarily a violin teacher, but came to French teaching when, 5 years ago, GCSE and A levels students in my local school asked me to help them prepare for their exams because I was a native speaker. It really fitted with my love of teaching and the fact that I could help people in learning my own language. I enjoyed it so much that I started tutoring more regularly.

It was really rewarding to see my first GCSE and A level students doing well and obtaining the grades they wanted thanks to the hard work we did together. I went on to get involved for a year with a small group of primary school age children who I taught through really fun sessions with games and songs, using memories and resources from my own childhood in France. I teach violin to adults and it was only a matter of time until I started to teach French to adults as well, in individual lessons, using a mix of traditional methods and relevant materials to tailor my teaching to fit their goals and their interests.
