About Sandrine
I am a French native and have been living in the UK for over 25 years. I have an MSc in Marketing Management and in International Marketing along with a diploma in Shopping Centres Management.
I have worked for over 20 years as a senior marketing manager in the UK and abroad predominantly in the ceramics and shopping centre industries.
During my marketing career I have prepared and delivered many presentations targeted at specific groups, individuals.
I am keen to share my experience and learnings in the marketing, PR and crisis management fields along with French language at school or in a work environment.
'Treat people as you want to be treated' is my motto. I am professional, punctual and ensure that my presentations/lessons are relevant and interesting.

Before a lesson, I want to understand the preferred learning style of the student (visual, auditory, verbal...) and what the student wants to get out of the lesson/tutoring.
I also like to find out what subjects interest them so that I can source some relevant material for my lessons which will make learning more interesting.
I will then establish the level the student is at and devise a plan to take him/her to the level they want to get to.
The lesson would be split in 3 parts:
- Quick revision of the previous lesson to make sure that the learning bloc is achieved.
- Presentation of the new lesson, making it as interactive as possible.
- Tasks: time for the student to apply the learnings.
- If the student is interested I could give them some work to do before the next lesson.
Lesson would last maximum 50 minutes.
I used to be an English tutor for children in senior school when I was at university. I haven't been a tutor since but in my various roles as senior marketing manager I have managed teams and mentored several people. As part of my job I had to prepare and deliver numerous presentation to a targeted audience. This experience will help me in my lessons plan.
