About Lou
Holder of French baccalaureate with honors and an English Bachelor in Politics and Sustainable Development, I love teaching my native language to others. I used to be a student at the high school of "la Maison d'Éducation de la Légion d'Honneur" in Paris and I am currently a Master student at Paris-Panthéon Assas. I am very passionate about exchanging with people eager to learn French as I think it is a rich, amazing language with a deep history. As such, I also love reading French literature and can recommend some books (or TV shows!) to students of all ages so they can improve their skills while having fun.

I am very flexible in my ways of teaching, depending on the student: we can focus on academic skills like preparation for exams and homework, but also engage in conversations with different themes to expand vocabulary and improve conversational skills. Therefore, my lesson plans will change depending on what the student wants to focus on: grammar and conjugation exercises, vocabulary, conversations... I also cross the lessons with specificities of French history so that the student can also get to know better French culture. The lessons are for all levels. I will check the language level of the student during the first lesson to adapt it to their weaknesses and focus to improve those.

Lou is an excellent teacher who has helped me with my conversational French and grammar. She is patient, friendly and very knowledgeable. She also has many excellent recommendations for additional resources. If you want to learn French, I strongly recommend taking lessons with Lou.
I highly recommend Lou as a French tutor. Very organised and diligent teaching style, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. She helped a great deal to improve my grammar and speaking skills, as well as pushed me to achieve my full potential in language learning.
Lou was my english teacher and thanks to her I'm fluent as I've always wished and english isn't her first language, I've had her as a teacher and she is calm patient yet extremely perfectionnist.
